Mission on the mind!!!

So this weekend I have been able to see a few people from the mission... and because of that I have talked a lot about my mission... then a girl in my ward is leaving on her mission to England in March, so I was talking to her at church today... also I found this awesome blog that a recent convert has made (www.alfoxshead.blogspot.com) ..... BASICALLY it's sort of making me mission sick (ya know, like home sick, but for the mission).....

Some of the hardest things I have ever done/dealt with were on my mission.... It was REALLY hard sometimes, but I am SO beyond grateful for EVERY experience I had. Wow, what an amazing learning experience. Also my good buddy (Sister) Amy Petersen gave me and super awesome CD... It is "A Nashville Tribute to Missionaries: The Work"  So good!!!! So that isn't helping with the mission sickness.
5069218_the_work_productsuch great songs!!! My favorite ones are (I don't know the names of any of the songs) the one that talks about how missionaries are being prayed for in the temples, and the one that talks about the hardest thing I've ever done... going all the way from leaving on a mission, to coming home!!! Love them!!!

I know I'm kind of rambling... but I wanted to share a link to an great video called "Dear Elder":

Also, a couple weeks ago I went to Temple Square with one of the sisters from my mission to visit a Temple Square sister that served out bound in our mission... I gave her a bunch of referrals for people I met on my mission. She just called me to give me an update. Some of the numbers didn't work anymore, one she can't get in touch with, but she had some good news come from 2 of them... So one lady said she wants the missionaries to come by and see her... and she is willing to have the temple square sisters call her and teach her too!!! :)  Then the other one was for a man I taught in my first area. He didn't want the missionaries to come by, but she said he went on an on about how grateful he was for me and my companion coming and teaching him. He is dealing with some serious medial problems, and we feel like he stopped learning because of his wife... She shared a scripture with him, and she could tell he was touched by it. He is definitely someone who WILL accept the gospel, even if it isn't till the spirit world (because of family situations). It was a GREAT phone call!!! :) yay!

Church today was all about the Book of Mormon, and it made me remember a lot of wonderful people I met in New England, and special experiences they had with the Book of Mormon that they shared with us!

So here are just some pictures from my mission.... fun memories!!!
